AgSmart takes place in Olds, Alta. July 30-31. The Alberta Seed Guide is giving away eight free passes to the two-day event, taking place in the grounds of Olds College.

The AgSmart event is a must-see educational expo focused on data and technology across the agriculture industry. Producers and industry gather to learn by seeing the latest innovations being demonstrated, hearing from industry experts and engaging with leading innovation focused exhibits.

The unique expo format brings the conference outdoors, showcasing why it makes sense to invest in equipment and technology to capture data and how to implement that data to increase productivity and profitability for farm operations.

You’ll get access to the whole expo including educational sessions, which include an important panel discussion on July 30 at 11 a.m. with the theme of A Technological Time Machine: How Modern Techniques Will Bring You New Seed Faster will explore the transformative power of technology in the realm of seed development and agricultural innovation.

You’ll also be able to attend Crop Diagnostic Day on July 31. Alberta Grains, Alberta Pulse, and Alberta Canola partner with Olds College to bring this co-branded, industry-recognized agricultural diagnostic day under a single banner. The partnership will showcase the latest agronomic information for producers and agronomists to ensure the newest research being conducted in the Prairies gets to those who need it.
